Nautical Research Guild – The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model shipcraft.

NRG’s Model Ship World – Their aim is to advocate and promote both nautical research and model shipwrighting.

Ships of Scale – Ship modeling forum, ideal for beginning ship modelers to learn and share their work and to exchange modeling ideas and techniques.

Byrnes Model Machines – Precision engineered machines for the serious modeler.

WoodenModelShipKit  purchases a majority of all kits and fittings from sources in Europe.  The kits are manufactured in England, Spain, and Italy.  The Italian model ship building industry is also renowned for its quality fittings which we also carry.  As such, our models most often come with instructions and plans in Italian, Spanish, and the like.  There may or may not be a translation into English, although most manufacturers will provide a rough English translation of the instructions.
