This is the 1/27 scale Pilar Wooden Boat Kit from Constructo. In 1934, Ernest Hemingway commissioned a fishing boat to be built to his own specifications. He christened it Pilar in honor of the virgin of Zaragoza, showing his liking of all things Spanish.
