The Bismarck was built in four years by the Hamburg shipyard and put into service on August 24, 1940. 138,000 hp gave the ship a top speed of 30.6 knots. Aero-naut’s model is constructed largely true to the original according to the shipyard plans. The electric drive takes place either via three screws with individual motors or via a motor with gearbox. The spaciousness of the hull allows the installation of any RC systems.

Aero-naut’s Bismarck kit contains: detailed building instructions with construction plan in German, English, French, Spanish and Italian, plastic hull, additional plan for removing the plastic hull, boat deck, rudder, wooden and cardboard parts, screw set with shafts and stern tubes .

The included fitting set consists of: portholes, rope hooks, double cross bollards, hall anchors, anchor chains, spotlights, monitoring frames, flag holders, flagpoles, brass ladders, anchor haws, anchor capitals, dinghies, cutters, motor dinghies, traffic boats, single flak, double flak, flak in double mounts, double towers, electric knives, Arado 196 aircraft, masts, cranes, railing, etc.
