Description
The model is based on a glassfibre hull with fender strips, plating detail, and port detail moulded into the hull. The main superstructure and decks are all Laser Cut from 1 & 1.5mm Hi-Impact Polystyrene sheet (HIPs). Also included are printed HIPs to provide the fine detail and finishing on the superstructure which aids quick and crisp assembly. Brass etchings with in excess of 250 parts are included to give the superfine detail for this classic model. There are a full set of fittings in cast light alloy and resin to give the finishing touch to the model adding the vital clutter that is so much a part of the appeal of this attractive merchant ship. A full set of waterslide decals for hull markings and draught marks is included.
A comprehensive instruction book, keyed to a Full size plan with embedded colour pictures, is also included to assist in constructing this model.
