The Müritz is a replica of a model kit and ship that was very popular in the former GDR (East Germany). The pleasing form and construction originally came from Karl Schulze. The frame construction with large fuselage sides allows the model to be built quickly and easily.
This kit was designed for remote control and electric motors used today and fully reflects the charm of the historic model.
The Muritz is a wooden construction kit and contains all plywood parts precut with laser precision, shaft and stern tubes as well as all material for rudders and joints. Detailed assembly instruction explains the assembly of the precisely fitting laser parts, so that the assembly should present no problems even for a beginner with experience in handling wood.
RC components are not included in the kit. If you wish to make this an RC boat, you will need the following equipment:
