Soclaine Le Belem, Three-Masted Bark, French Training Ship 1896 (SOCBLM300). The three-masted Bark Belem, the last survivor of the great French fleet of full-rigged ships, Cape-Horners and West Indiamen, was built in Nantes as a merchant ship in 1896.
Aquired for France in 1979, and today completely restored thanks to the unswerving support of the Caisse d’Epargne Ecuriel, takes on board more than 2000 lovers of the greatest of high seas navigators, the square rigged vessel.
