Soclaine St Gildas Groix Tuna Boat 1908 (SOCSG1020). This was the last generation of a type of ketch seen off the Atlantic coast of France until the 1930s.
These 60 ton vessels with their large sails, carried a crew of 10-12 men who fished for tuna with long rods or “tangons”.
